Event Geolocation Overview

Event Geolocation provides admins with visibility into the location of users’ devices by collecting devices’ IP addresses. Whenever an end user accesses a protected resource, Cloud Secure Edge (CSE) uses the device’s IP address to determine its geolocation, which is then recorded in Events.

Geolocation collection is always enabled for every org and is not configurable from the Command Center. Previously, admins could turn a Use Geolocation toggle on or off under Settings > Configuration > Advanced; that toggle has been removed, and geolocation data is now collected by default.
