Overview

Most modern databases, such PostgreSQL and MySQL, allow for certificate-based user authentication.

SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge (CSE) creates end-to-end MTLS tunnels using short-lived x509 certificates; these same certificates can be used to configure end-user access to database servers, including access control and audit logging.
